Portia Bryant specializes in emotional healing and has a gift of gently walking broken clients through a process to living free and whole. She has over 20 years of experience working in the community and uncovering the secrets of why children and adults with problematic behaviors think and behave the way they do. She has a passion for developing counseling interventions and facilitating impactful group sessions. She gives engaging development seminars that inspire life to include Anger Management & Emotional Intelligence seminars. In addition to her work as a child and adolescent behavioral specialist, she is also a Qualified Mental Health Provider and anger management facilitator for all ages; Portia is an inspirational speaker and founder of the non-profit, Still I Rise Outreach, Inc. A Youth Success Coach & Empowerment Organization.

During her early lecturing engagements, the persona Absolute emerged as she drew attention to life’s goal of being whole and complete. Predominantly known as Absolute, she captivates her audiences through music, poetry, rap and provocatively powerful intervention methodology. Early on, she released her album entitled, “Absolute Defines the Process,” which proclaims her celebrated message that the process of life is every person’s opportunity to “blossom.” She imparts her famous tagline, “I See You Blossoming” in her speaking, mentoring, and personal encounters.
Later, The Butterfly Process: From Brokenness to Boldness, was written in order that she would empower a wider span of broken and damaged lives and teach many the metamorphosis to freedom through a personal relationship with God. Portia has 10 years experience as a Therapeutic Counselor and became an Anger Management Specialist through the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), during this time she wrote, The 21 Day Anger Management Challenge to aid in the practical daily application of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and discovery of the benefits of being at peace with all men. Most recently, Portia has developed a behavior accountability and documentation system with the aid of technology (Progress Note Helper) found on both the Android and iTunes platforms. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University in Communication & Human Services Counseling and a Masters of Business Administration from Averett University.
